Tom Kellermann
Vice President of Security Awareness
Tom Kellermann is responsible for building Core's relationships with key industry and government partners, and helping further the acceptance of auditing security defenses to reduce organizations' operational risk. Additionally, Kellermann represents Core at US, international and industry security working groups, helping these organizations promote improved security practices and policies. Previously, Kellermann held the position of senior data risk management specialist of the Integrator Unit and was member of the World Bank Treasury Security Team for over six years. Kellermann holds a master's degree in international political economies from the American University School of International Service, and a BA from the University of Michigan. Mike Rothman
President and Principal Analyst of Security Incite
Mike Rothman is Security Incite's President and Principal Analyst and author of The Pragmatic CSO (available Jan 2007 at www.pragmaticcso.com). Mike’s bold predictions and irreverent style are invaluable as companies determine effective strategies to grapple with the dynamic security threatscape. Mike has a deep background in information security and is one of the guys that “knows where the bodies are buried” in the space.
Starting his career as a programmer and a networking consultant, Mike joined META Group in 1993. Mike spearheaded META’s initial foray into information security research and also covered a variety of other networking, electronic commerce, and messaging topics during his 5 years in “Big Research.”
Mike left META in 1998 to found SHYM Technology, a pioneer in the PKI software market and then took VP Marketing roles at CipherTrust and TruSecure, providing experience in marketing, business development, and channel operations for both product and services companies.
