CSI's 31st Annual Computer Security Conference and Exhibition to be held November 8-10, 2004 in Washington, D.C.

SAN FRANCISCO-- Computer Security Institute (CSI) announced today its 31st Annual Computer Security Conference and Exhibition will be held November 8-10, 2004 at the Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, D.C.

The world's longest established computer security event, the CSI Annual Conference attracts over 2500 computer and information security professionals from 40 countries.

The 14 track conference will offer more than 160 sessions highlighting security best practices to help security practitioners and IT professionals navigate the challenges presented by wireless technologies, computer crime, new Government regulations and much more.

"This event is the largest of its kind in the industry," said Julie Hogan, Director of Events of Computer Security Institute. "Each year attendees meet at the Annual Conference to enhance their skills, learn from the experts and come away prepared to protect their organizations' critical information assets. As new threats are constantly being discovered, it is essential that security professionals keep current on how to counteract and defend against those threats."
